Job Title: Warehouse Assembler
Job Description
Efficiently unload and load packages from freight trucks to cargo containers for plane transportation. Assemble the packages inside the cargo container to maximize space and fit the maximum number of packages.
Responsibilities
+ Unload and load packages onto cargo containers from trucks.
+ Break down and remove packages from the carts and load them into cargo containers for airline transportation.
+ Assemble items 'Tetris style' to maximize package occupancy in cargo container.
+ Put small boxes and mail into larger bags before placing them in the cargo container.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records using scanning and tracking systems.
+ Follow safety protocols and conduct quality control checks.
+ Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as a ramp agent, cargo handler, or in warehouse packing.
+ Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks, material handling, and general labor.
+ Ability to palletize, manage inventory, and perform order picking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Reliable transportation to Sacramento International Airport.
+ Excellent attendance with adherence to a strict attendance policy.
+ Must have steel-toed boots that cover the ankle.

Work Environment
Work in a warehouse environment located on-site at Sacramento International Airport. Conditions can be hot in summer and cold in winter. Shift hours are from 2 am to 10:30 am, and flexibility with weekend availability is required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
