Commercial Carpenter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Carpenter to perform wood and metal stud framing, acoustic ceiling installation, and drywall backing. The ideal candidate will be experienced in reading blueprints and accurately laying out framing systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.

Responsibilities

+ Perform wood and metal stud framing.

+ Install acoustic ceilings and drywall backing.

+ Read blueprints and accurately lay out framing systems.

+ Install commercial doors, frames, and hardware such as locks, closers, and panic devices.

+ Use hand and power tools proficiently.

+ Understand and adhere to construction safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in commercial carpentry.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints.

+ Experience with hand and power tools.

+ Understanding of construction safety standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ OSHA 10 certification.

+ Experience operating boom lift and scissor lift.

Work Environment

Candidates will work in commercial environments, with shifts from 6am - 2:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm depending on the job site. The dress code requires wearing hard hats, high-visibility clothing, and work boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
