    Job Title: Shipping and Order Picking Specialist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Order Picking Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves wrapping pallets, unloading trucks, and efficiently managing the shipping process. You will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse activities.

    Responsibilities

    + Wrap pallets and unload trucks.

    + Operate sit down forklifts for loading and unloading.

    + Pack products onto pallets and wrap them using a shrink wrapper.

    + Move pallets to the staging area using electric pallet jacks and forklifts.

    + Assist in basic warehouse duties to complete the shipping process for large projects.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of experience with Reach Trucks (Standup Forklifts).

    + Prior experience with sit down forklifts and loading/unloading trucks, preferably 1 year or more.

    + Ability to communicate effectively and work well under pressure.

    + Basic math and documentation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required with a solid work history.

    + Prior forklift experience and certification are a big plus.

    + Previous shipping experience and ability to multitask effectively.

    Work Environment

     

    Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm. The company fosters a close-knit culture with great benefits after becoming permanent, including health care and annual boot purchases. Most tasks involve independent work, and you will be responsible for overseeing your equipment to ensure proper operation.

    This is a Contract position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.30 - $21.30/hr.
