Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to efficiently manage daily shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will monitor the shipping queue using M2M, print packing lists, and assign orders to the team for picking and packing. Organizational skills are essential for coordinating freight shipments. Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping platforms is required, along with strong computer and communication skills. This role also involves acting as a backup for the lead person in the area.

Responsibilities

+ Run daily shipping and receiving operations.

+ Monitor the shipping queue in M2M and print packing lists.

+ Assign orders to team members for picking and packing.

+ Organize freight shipments efficiently.

+ Serve as a backup to the lead in the shipping area.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping platforms.

+ Proficient computer skills.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Familiarity with forklift operations.

+ Knowledge of SAP, FedEx Ship Manager, and UPS WorldShip.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Bill of Lading procedures.

+ Ability to pick and pull orders accurately.

+ Familiarity with wire gauges (AWG) and wire harness fabrication.

+ Experience in assembling electronics subassemblies.

+ Ability to follow safety and quality standards consistently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
