    Summary:

    Returning retired, part-time Bus Drivers will receive top rate which is $33.99 per hour. Part-time Bus Drivers may work up to 30 hours per week. RETIRED BUS DRIVER, PART-TIME (ALL DIVISIONS) (Only Retired NJ TRANSIT Bus Operators) NORTHERN, CENTRAL and SOUTHERN garages .

    Qualifications:

    + Retired from NJ TRANSIT as a Bus Driver

    + Separated from the Company for at least 90 days

    + Possess a current Commercial Driver's License with Airbrake and Passenger endorsements

    + Have a safe driving record that is in good standing with less than five (5) accumulated points

    + Are available to participate in a training program: Monday through Friday from 8:00 am--4:30 pm (perfect attendance at training is required)

    + Successfully clear a background check and a pre-employment physical examination to include D&A testing
