Munson Healthcare is excited to announce the opening of our new Petoskey Community Health Center, a key access point for the northeast region. We are seeking dedicated and passionate professionals to join our team across various positions. The center will offer comprehensive services including primary care, urgent care, radiology (CT and mammography), lab services, and specialty care in cardiology, cardiac diagnostics, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, and nephrology

What we are looking for in you:

+ Prefer and individual with and associate's degree in a health-related discipline. In lieu of an a ssociate’s degree , candidate must have 5 years’ experience in a highly demanding, customer driven fast-paced, professional work environment that included acute attention to detail, multifaceted work demands with emphasis on quickly prioritizing and resolving a high volume of scheduling needs, preferably in a health care environment.

+ Experience in customer service and dealing with physician office staff and the general public required . Experience in registration and scheduling of patients preferred . General medical office practices preferred . Must understand medical terminology and procedures.

+ Knowledge of billing and coding, electronic medical records, and medical terminology a plus .

+ Superior customer relationship skills and proven ability to communicate effectively and accurately, verbally and in writing with all levels.

+ Must be able to work independently and prioritize projects and timelines within a flexible schedule.
