Join Our Team! As the HUC, you'll play a critical role in coordinating administrative support and preparing essential documentation, ensuring every patient's journey to surgery is seamless and well-prepared.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Create & Maintain Patient Charts: Assemble, print, and manage patient charts and medical records for pre-surgery preparation.

+ Schedule Appointments: Coordinate in-person visits and manage referrals from clinics, ensuring patients receive timely care.

+ Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with the healthcare team to maintain compliance with Medicare and all regulatory standards.

+ Office Management: Order and maintain supplies, keep records organized, and respond efficiently to the changing demands of patient care.

Qualifications:

+ Educational Background: Vocational training or post-high school education in healthcare preferred; other relevant experience considered.

+ Experience: At least one (1) year in a healthcare setting preferred.

+ Skill Set: Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills are a must! Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with EMR systems preferred.

+ Medical Knowledge: Understanding of medical terminology preferred. Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain it within 3 months of hire.

+ Team Player: Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
