    Job Description:

    The University of Florida Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a Assistant/Associate/Full Professor (Research) for the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Renal Transplantation. Position can be tenure or non-tenure track dependent on the applicant. The Nephrology Division is active in all academic missions with a variety of strong research, educational, and clinical activities. The Division seeks to recruit dynamic faculty members who will enhance the division’s research and scholarly activities, collaborate with colleagues across the college, as well as teach and mentor. We are especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the excellence of the academic community through their research. The ideal candidate will have a track record of successful research and scholarly activity, as demonstrated by excellent peer-reviewed publications and acquisition of extramural funding. Preference given to those working in the field of hypertension and diabetes research.

     

    The Division offers a competitive financial package with an excellent base salary and productivity incentives in addition to a strong work-life balance in sunny Florida. Rank and tenure status will be commensurate with qualifications.

    Expected Salary:

    Salary is negotiable, commensurate with education and experience.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Completion of an approved doctoral program. A strong background in nephrology-related research demonstrated by a strong publication record.
