Role Overview: The Senior Brand Manager, GNPI - Specialty Hair & Skin Care is a dynamic role suited for a strategic thinker with a strong consumer focus and a passion for innovation. This individual will be responsible for leading the development and execution of new product projects, driving the innovation pipeline, and nurturing transformational ideas to elevate key brands such as Nair, Viviscal, and Batiste. Reporting to the Director of GNPI, Specialty Hair and Skin Care, this position requires close collaboration with GNPI UK, Brand Marketing, R&D/Product Development, and cross-functional teams to achieve brand growth and alignment with strategic objectives.
Key Role Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
+ Pipeline Development: Lead development of the innovation pipelines for Nair and Viviscal, ensuring alignment with brand strategies and consumer needs.
+ Global Collaboration: Work collaboratively with GNPI UK to influence Batiste’s global strategy, championing local US needs while aligning with global objectives.
+ Innovation Leadership: Identify and drive transformational innovation opportunities for Batiste, developing unique go-to-market strategies to nurture and scale these ideas effectively.
+ Cross-Functional Influence: Leverage cross-functional teams to drive projects forward, influencing without authority to achieve shared objectives and strategic alignment.
+ Strategic Thinking: Utilize data and insights to inform strategic direction, develop business cases, and prioritize high-impact projects for specialty hair and skin care brands.
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
+ Proven experience in brand management, with a focus on innovation and strategic growth.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
+ Experience in managing NPD P&Ls and budget ownership.
+ Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and storytelling.

+ Strategic & Business Acumen: Ability to think strategically, ideate, and develop robust business cases. Skilled in project prioritization to drive brand growth through innovation.
+ Innovation & Disruption: Facilitates successful implementation of innovative ideas, champions new concepts, and helps teams embrace change and engage in new processes.
+ Cross-Functional Influence: Strong ability to build relationships and influence across diverse teams, managing external resources and agencies effectively.
+ Analytical Knowledge: Expertise in using qualitative and quantitative data to make informed business decisions, translating insights into cohesive stories.
+ Market & Consumer Research: Proficient in identifying market research needs, developing studies in collaboration with Market Research partners, and building impactful presentations using data and insights.
+ Trade Strategy & Supply Chain: Knowledgeable in supply chain complexities, developing pricing strategies, and leading customer presentations on innovation.
+ Financial Management: Skilled in managing NPD P&Ls, budget ownership, and GNPI tracker inputs, ensuring financial alignment with strategic goals.
+ Digital Savviness: Encourages the adoption of new solutions and technology, incorporating emerging tech and e-commerce into business planning.
+ Positive Attitude & Resilience: Demonstrates a growth mindset, approaches work with enthusiasm and sets high standards to motivate the team.
