Sunlighten is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Custom Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Sunlighten’s Project Coordinator plays a vital role in managing custom/commercial sauna projects from initial sale through final installation. This cross-functional position requires strong project management, logistics coordination, technical aptitude, and customer service skills. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident balancing both administrative duties and field visits. This role involves close collaboration with clients, sales, design, and install teams, occasional travel to project sites, and light marketing tasks to support brand growth and client engagement. Duties/Responsibilities:
+ Oversee all aspects of custom sauna projects, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion.
+ Collaborate with the sales team to originate project opportunities, understand client needs, and contribute technical expertise.
+ Coordinate project logistics, including component shipments, install tools, materials, and installer scheduling to ensure timely delivery and execution.
+ Work closely with clients, contractors, and design teams to develop tailored sauna solutions, leveraging CAD/SolidWorks as needed.
+ Manage 20+ concurrent projects, using strong organizational skills and project tracking tools to monitor progress and anticipate delays.
+ Facilitate communication across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and accountability at every phase.
+ Provide exceptional customer service and act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
+ Travel occasionally to installation sites to meet clients, capture final installation photos, and ensure quality and satisfaction.
+ Support and streamline the installation process, including fieldwork to document best practices and implement improvements.
+ Create post-installation exit packages for clients, including documentation and final sign-off.
+ Assist with image cataloging and light marketing efforts, including capturing and organizing project photos and posting to social media (e.g., Instagram).
+ Participate in ongoing development of project management tools and internal processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
+ Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot issues on-site or remotely and help introduce tech solutions (e.g., iPad sign-offs, installer access tools).
Requirements
Travel/Work Environment:
+ This role requires 25–50% travel to client homes, commercial sites, and business locations to oversee sauna installations, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain client satisfaction. Travel may include face-to-face meetings with clients, contractors, and architects, as well as on-site photography and post-installation documentation.
Education/Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
+ 2-3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a technical or construction-related industry.
+ Proficiency in Netsuite, Salesforce, Adobe Suite, Keyshot and SolidWorks or other drafting software is highly desirable.
+ Photography experience is a plus.
