    Position Title: HousekeeperDepartment: Operations Reports To: Housekeeping ManagerClassification: Part time, Non-exempt

     

    Compensation: $22.00 an hour

     

    Essential Functions:Under direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor, performs general cleaning throughout the facility. • Cleans floors, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and waxing.• Cleans and stocks bathrooms.• Dusts areas that contain furniture, such as offices.• Cleans windows.

    Experience/Training/Education:

    Desirable: At least one-year experience in a housekeeping or janitorial position.

     

    Knowledge/Abilities/Skills/Knowledge of:Safe work practices, General cleaning procedures.

     

    Ability to:Read, write, and speak English.Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Work in a team atmosphere.Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

     

    Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours

     

    Skill to:Operate radio devices.Operate equipment, scrubbers (riding and walk behind), sweepers (riding), vacuums, etc.

     

    Physical and Environmental Requirements:Position requires walking and standing for most of the shift; may be subject to adverse conditions; may be required to work with hazardous substances; irregular hours may be required.
