    The Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics business provides leading naval computing infrastructure, network and data distribution and middleware enterprise services, as well as world-class manufacturing and support capabilities.

     

    Summary/Location - Onsite: Johnstown, PA

     

    Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics has an immediate opening for an entry level Associate Test Technician to provide routine technical support to engineers in performing standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and record the results for our Cable Assembly focus factory.

     

    This position is based onsite in our Display, Processing, and Networking Center of Excellence in Johnstown, PA.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Provide routine technical support to engineers on standard components, devices, material, products, processes and/or equipment

    + Capable of performing related manufacturing processes

    + Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules

    + Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification required to maintain the certification

    + Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials

    + Perform Key Performance Indicators:

    + Meet production deadlines

    + Quality of finished product (Pass/fail rates)

    + Compliance outcomes

    + Position requires the ability to coordinate several activities at the same time, and to reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment, alignment and troubleshooting test failures

    + Experienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practices

    + Experienced in the use of various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and Labview.

    + Experience with MRP a plus.

    + Must have good hand and eye coordination
