ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategy & Planning
• Ensure that SAP software meets business requirements and goals, fulfills user requirements, and identifies and resolves systems issues.
• Integrate and oversee the SAP change management process across the organization in all affected areas with existing change management procedures.
• Establish rapport with Stakeholders and SMEs utilizing SAP, to drive standardization of practices within all divisions.
2. Acquisition & Deployment
• Recommend any additional hardware or software requirements needed for successful SAP deployments, configuration, or maintenance.
• Identify and utilize the appropriate staff to work on projects where SAP software is involved.
• Evaluate and develop documentation supporting contracts with SAP software and service providers.
• Liaise with company’s SAP suppliers for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies.
• Evaluate proposals in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations.
3. Operational Management
•Evaluate, install, configure, and deploy SAP applications, systems software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and system owners in the testing of SAP software programs and applications.
• Ensure that any SAP integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.
• Perform daily monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP system; record and distribute procedural expectations of additional installs and configuring of patches and upgrades in S/4HANA as required.
• Prepare and deliver activity and progress reports for presentation to the executive management team.
• Provide direction for the application team in support of SAP operations.
• Coordinate feasibility studies for SAP products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings.
• Liaise with network administrators, stakeholders, and software developers to assist with configuration specifications, program logic, and data conversions.
4. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
5. The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
6. Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration, and/or 15 years equivalent work experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
At least 10 years direct experience administrating SAP applications (i.e. SAP Basis, APO, BW, etc.).
Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of SAP software solutions
At least 10 years direct experience in the Enterprise Resource Planning ERP/SAP applications industry. ·
Solid Unix, Oracle, AS/400, and Windows skills.
Technically fluent in relational database administration
Competency as a team leader and all aspects of employee management.
Good project management skills.
Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
Strong customer-service orientation.
Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
Ability to conduct research into application issues and products.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
