    Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

    Contract administration, management, monitoring responsibilities, such as:

    + Evaluating contractor performance and informing management of issues with service delivery;

    + Managing contracts/grants as required by state and federal regulations;

    + Reviewing and approving deliverables;

    + Reviewing, approving, and processing invoices for payment;

    + Maintaining complete, comprehensive, current, and well-organized contract files;

    + Providing technical assistance and training to contractors;

    + Providing guidance and support to internal/external stakeholders as needed;

    + Conducting onsite/desktop monitorings according to monitoring guidelines;

    + Developing and enforcing corrective action plans, as deemed necessary;

    + Evaluating contract effectiveness and recommending improvements to the ensure optimum service delivery;

    + Preparing close-out reports upon contract termination, identifying the results of contracted objectives and performance;

    + Assisting in the development and maintenance of the Special Contracts Section’s monitoring plan and schedule.

    + Collaborating with the Bureau of Field Services program subject matter experts and providing guidance to assist in fostering positive outcomes to individuals with disabilities;

    + Collaborating with the Departments Office of Grant Management on contract/grant development;

    + Assisting with mentoring and cross-training of incoming contract managers within BVCS Special Contracts;

    + Understanding federal and statutory requirements related to fiscal monitoring;

    + Performing contract-related research, preparing reports, and presenting recommendations to management, as appropriate; and

    + Assisting with preparing solicitations for procurement.

     

    The incumbent also performs other related duties, as assigned
