Wayfair's Supplier Advertising (Retail Media Network) team is quickly growing and seeking an experienced, Senior Manager to drive advertising growth in our two largest domestic categories, Upholstery and Casegoods. These categories represented the highest growth opportunities for our retail media network and will require leading a ~8 person team to achieve our aggressive growth targets. This leader within the advertising team will need to be able to balance setting longer term strategic priorities for these categories while being able to go deep with the team to ensure strong results at the supplier level. This individual will be instrumental in leading their teams to profitable revenue growth for new and existing accounts and creating / executing account and sub-segment customer strategies. The ideal candidate must be highly analytical, hands on, and understand how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced company.
What You’ll Do:
+ Drive sales strategy and execution of Casegoods and Upholstery, with responsibility for helping our suppliers profitability grow their advertising and ensuring supplier success with using our advertising products
+ Serve as the Wayfair success manager for strategic suppliers and execute negotiations to secure best pricing, sales programs, fulfillment performance, and advertising/promotional support
+ Defining performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of category performance, such as availability, speed, damage/defect rate, cost competitiveness, digital advertising performance, and others
+ Analyze data to strategize profit growth opportunities for the category and for specific supplier partners
+ Partner closely with senior leaders to develop and enhance the Wayfair brand, site, and competitive positioning
+ Analyze competitors’ marketing, selection and pricing and make strategic changes
+ Develop strategies for key customer sub-segments and collaborate with key cross functional teams (e.g., Category Management, Sales Ops, etc.)
+ Be a leader within the Supplier Advertising Sales Team and Broader Retail Media organization
What You’ll Need
+ 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, people management, and leadership.
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferred
+ Strong verbal and written communications skills.
+ Strong presentation skills to all levels of management.
+ Ability to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined story and action plan.
+ Experience in taking a company forward in a fast-growth environment, providing insight for direction, and managing change effectively.
+ Performance marketing or advertising background a plus
