CNC Machinist Apprentice

Your Key Responsibilities

+ Complete 7,000 hours between the College Program and on-the-job training (OJT) in our manufacturing facilities

+ Operate and maintain CNC, lathe and mill

+ Inspects tooling for damage or wear after production

+ Makes major repairs to tooling

+ Completes minor tool optimization projects

+ Maintain complete and accurate records on tooling as required

+ Maintain a clean and safe work area

+ Follows all safety rules and practices

+ Follows all quality procedures

+ Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices including 5-S standards

+ Successfully complete, to the Company’s specification, courses of study required for the Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology

Your Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Successful completion of the Compass Placement Test (required for school admission)

+ Ability to move or lift 35 pounds

+ Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship

+ This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
