WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Credit and Collections Analyst is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. You will be working in a team environment at our Corporate Office in Reno, Nevada. Our Credit and Collections Analysts follow our accounts receivable collection plan procedures while building and fostering relationships with our customers.
Reporting to our Credit and Collections Supervisor, you’ll primarily work with the credit and collections team, our customers and our branch sales teams across all of the Jensen Infrastructure locations.
A highlight of your day-to-day will include:
+ Managing all aspects of assigned accounts: sorting, answering and filing correspondence; writing reports; researching customer information on past-due accounts; and recording collection efforts and status of accounts.
+ Identifying customer issues before they become collection issues and escalating to accounting management when they become delinquent.
+ Maintaining open lines of communication with branch operations (GMs, Sales, and Accounts Receivable) regarding delinquent accounts and credit issues.
+ Providing phone and email support for incoming branch and customer calls; and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
+ Contacting delinquent accounts; reviewing terms of sales; managing project accounts; making payment arrangements; and placing and removing holds on accounts based on account status.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You’re enthusiastic and motivated in a fast-paced environment. You understand that building positive relationships with our customers is your number one priority, so you call the customer more than you email them. Providing professional customer service with a sense of urgency comes naturally to you. Administrative tasks such as data entry, researching, and documenting is just part of the job and does not bother you. You’re empathetic and patient, yet able to collect on a delinquent account in a reasonable timeframe.
Other desired qualifications include:
+ Minimum of 2 years of collections and customer relationship management experience, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing or construction environment.
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration or related field.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor) and accounting systems.
+ Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions in a fast-paced Credit and Collections environment.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Working knowledge of Precast products – preferred.
We’re open to individuals who aren’t just looking for their next job, they’re looking to build a career. You want an opportunity to showcase your skill set with a solid company who will invest in you. In our culture – everyone matters.
ALL ABOUT JENSEN INFRASTRUCTURE
Much like you, our founder, Don Jensen was looking for a way to support himself and his family, so he started his Company in 1968. Since founded, we’ve been supporting communities across Nevada, California, Arizona, Washington, and Hawaii.
Jensen Infrastructure likely has an impact on your daily life. We build culverts to take water away from your neighborhoods, underground utility boxes to hold cables, and manholes to allow workers access to the sewers deep below the roads we drive on. And that’s just a small sample of what we do at Jensen on a daily basis.
When you work at one of Jensen’s many locations, you will enjoy the close relationships and camaraderie of a small company while being part of a larger, well-established, growing company.
_We are committed to ensuring employment practices that promote equal opportunities. Please let us know if you require any reasonable accommodations during your interview._
_If there is an offer, the salary presented will consider several factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, training, and internal equity._
_Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Jensen Infrastructure. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with match, PTO, and paid holidays. This role may also be eligible to participate in the company’s annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program. (Incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)_
