    Job Description

    To supervise the Student Employment section of the University’s Payroll Office, following established policies and procedures, federal and state tax laws and ensure timely payment and processing of student hiring documents.

    Working knowledge of automated payroll systems, working knowledge of State Payroll policies and procedures, working knowledge of employment laws related to student hiring rules and regulations. Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the public and perform efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and organizational skills, Proficiency with Microsoft applications

    Conditions of Employment

     

    Overtime may be required during peak periods.
