Job Skills / Requirements

1st Shift-32 hours/ week

Mon-Thurs 7am-1pm

Fri 7am-3pm

Job Requirements:

+ 21 years of age or older

+ This is a driving post (must have good MVR).

+ Previous customer service, security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.

+ Ability to work Weekends (Saturday and Sunday), if needed.

+ Must read, write, and speak English.

+ A curious nature that helps you to remain aware of the activities around you.

+ The ability to remain calm, solve problems, and act effectively in a critical situation.

Primary roles of this Security Officer position:

+ Logging in visitors and providing them with an escort while on site.

+ The escort will complete the Sign-In portion of the form

+ The Security Officer will ensure that the Sign-In potion of the form is complete and brief the Escort of his responsibilities while the visitor is on site.

+ The Security Officer will assign a badge number and Identification Number

+ Upon completion of the visit, the Escort will bring the visitor to the Front Desk and sign the visitor out

+ The Security Officer will ensure that the Sign-Out portion of the form is complete

+ The Security Officer will secure the visitor badge before their departure

+ The Welcome Center Officer is responsible for answering the main incoming telephone line.

+ The Welcome Center Officer will schedule conference room reservations for associates/contractors who do not have access to the database.

+ Multitasking

+ Computer skills

+ Prevent loss to client property from fire or equipment failure.

+ Control access to client property.

+ Enforce the rules and regulations set forth by the client.

Education Requirements (All)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements (All)

Alabama Security Regulatory Board License Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses Pistol Permit
