Job Description
AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Controls Engineer II, New York, NY.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Review and analyze Contractor’s Critical Path Method (CPM) Progress Schedules on various transportation, energy, water and facility construction contracts.
+ Assist with providing recommendations on the avoidance, minimization, and mitigation of construction delays based on schedule analysis.
+ Assist with review and analysis of Contractor’s requests for contract Time Extensions.
+ Assist in the defense of contract time-related disputes and/or claims; including but not limited to dispute/claim analysis, defects and damage calculations, delay, disruption, and acceleration impact analysis.
+ Conduct periodic construction project site visits to monitor project progress and assure progress schedule integrity, and participate in regular progress schedule meetings with the construction team.
+ Assist with providing construction management, scheduling support.
+ Read and understand construction plans and specifications.
+ Develop and assist with the development of construction schedules or contract time determination schedules using contract documents and Primavera P6.
+ Develop what-if schedules using Primavera P6.
+ Cost load and assist with review of cost loaded construction schedules.
+ Knowledge of time impact analysis and utilize various delay analysis methods.
+ Review and analyze Contractor’s CPM schedule submissions utilizing Oracle Primavera P6 transportation, energy, water and facility construction projects.
+ Develop schedules using MS Project.
+ Coordinate with engineering teams to develop and update proposal schedules and design schedules for transportation, energy, water and facility projects.
+ May telecommute.

Qualifications
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation.
Position requires:
1. Oracle Primavera P6 software;
2. Critical Path Method Scheduling;
3. Construction methods for energy and infrastructure projects;
4. Reviewing and analyzing construction baseline and update schedules;
5. Spreadsheet analysis skills with MS Excel
6. MS Project software;
7. Developing and maintaining schedule using Oracle Primavera P6; and
8. Costing load schedules using Oracle Primavera P6.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $101,525.00 - $123,988.35.
