    Reports to: Superintendent of Schools

    Performance Responsibilities :

    Leadership & Administration

     

    + Provides overall leadership and supervision for the school, ensuring implementation of Board policies, procedures, and district goals.

    + Supervises all personnel assigned to the school, including professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and support staff.

    + Assists with recruiting, hiring, training, assigning, evaluating, and developing staff.

    + Conducts regular staff meetings and fosters collaboration to support school operations and instructional effectiveness.

     

    Curriculum, Instruction & Student Services

     

    + Supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum and instructional programs in collaboration with staff.

    + Maintains high student conduct, discipline, and attendance standards while ensuring due process and promoting student well-being.

    + Oversees and supports the school's extracurricular programs and student activities.

     

    Operations & Safety

     

    + Manages the school's daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, and allocating resources for instructional and non-instructional needs.

    + Ensures a safe, clean, and orderly school environment, including building and grounds oversight, emergency preparedness, and regular safety drills.

    + Maintains accurate student records related to academic progress, attendance, and health in compliance with district and state guidelines.

     

    Communication & Reporting

     

    + Acts as a liaison between the school, families, and the broader community; promotes positive engagement and effectively communicates school policies and activities.

    + Oversees the preparation and timely submission of required reports to the district office and other stakeholders.

    Other Responsibilities

    + Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent to support the successful operation of the school and district.
