Join Our Team as a** **Patient Access & Scheduling Representative** **! 🌟
_Make a real difference from the front lines of care._
Are you someone who loves helping people, keeps things organized, and knows how to brighten someone’s day—even over the phone? Then we’d love to meet you!
As a Patient Access & Scheduling Representative, you’re the first point of contact for our patients. You'll be gathering important info, helping them understand their health benefits, scheduling appointments, and guiding them through the financial side of care—all while bringing your A-game for service and support.
What You’ll Be Doing:
+ Chat with patients and their families to collect important demographic and insurance information.
+ Use our electronic systems to schedule appointments and access patient records.
+ Explain health insurance coverage and patient costs in a way that makes sense.
+ Answer phone calls and respond to appointment requests with empathy and efficiency.
+ Make sure all paperwork and records are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
+ Collect co-pays and help patients connect to financial resources if needed.
+ Get pre-certifications and authorizations to ensure smooth service delivery.
What You Bring:
+ A high school diploma or equivalent (yep, that’s the baseline!).
+ At least **1 year of experience** in patient access, scheduling, or a similar healthcare/clerical role.
+ Strong communication skills—you’re comfortable talking with anyone, from patients to insurance reps.
+ Solid keyboarding and written communication skills (you’ll be using both every day!).
Bonus Points (Preferred but not required!):
+ You’ve got a good handle on basic medical terminology.
+ You’ve worked as a Patient Access Rep before—either here or at another healthcare facility.
Why You'll Love It Here:
+ You’ll be part of a supportive team that truly cares about people—patients _and_ coworkers.
+ You’ll help patients feel seen, heard, and taken care of from their very first interaction.
+ You’ll grow your career in a respected, mission-driven healthcare organization.
Ready to join a team where your communication skills and compassion truly make a difference?
**Apply today—we can’t wait to meet you!** 💙
