Requirements

Education :

+ High school graduate or equivalent

Other Qualifications, Experiences and Competencies :

+ You must complete all training required by Whitsons and the government as needed

+ Must be able to speak, read, and write English

+ While performing the tasks of this job, the team member is frequently required to sit, walk, talk, and listen

+ Use hands and fingers to feel, manipulate, or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.

+ Standing most of the workday, as well as walking around.

+ Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Sometimes it is necessary to lift while turning from side to side.

+ Specific visual skills required by this job include near vision and the ability to adjust focus.

+ The position sometimes requires extended hours including evenings and/or weekends, travel to multiple job sites, and occasional out-of-state travel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

+ Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment, specifically in the packaging and warehousing areas.

+ Standing is required for most of the workday.

+ The work requires movement in and out of warehouses, near heavy machinery and freezers.

+ Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot and cold) due to cooking and refrigeration equipment.

+ The noise level in the work environment is moderate to high.
