    Cherokee Town & Country Club in Atlanta, GA is seeking to hire a Part-time Racquets Professional to teach and promote the game of tennis, pickleball, and paddleball for our membership and guests. Are you passionate about racquets? If so, read on!

     

    Our Part-time Racquets Professionals earn commissions on lessons based on your level of certification.     A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RACQUETS PROFESSIONAL

     

    As a Racquets Professional, you will organize and promote the game of tennis, paddle, and pickleball for the entire membership. You strive to attain the highest level of participation in all events, programs, and play. Assists all racquets departmental operations by conducting individual and group instruction, as well as coaching to the membership and their guests. Our pros actively coordinate specific events and programs to promote growth and interest in racquet sports.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Minimum of three years of experience working with adult and junior programs for tennis.

    + College degree and have a competitive racquet sport playing background (college player or 5.0 player preferred); previous teaching of 3+ years.

    + USPTR, USPTA, and Pickleball certification is a plus.

    + Excellent communication skills

    + Exceptional oral, written, and organizational skills

    + Comfortable working with all age groups of junior and adults

    + Ability to stand for periods at a time and lift up to 25 lbs and be outside for periods of time during all times of the year.

    WORK SCHEDULE

    The schedule for this position varies. Candidates must be available to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed per the scheduled demands.
