    Overview

     

    This full-time position consists of supporting the Account Executives, Account Supervisor, and Management Director in completing daily tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Serve as primary liaison to Traffic Department and coordinating/executing monthly traffic activities

    + Manage client sponsorship and ticket activities

    + Manage client creative preferences

    + Coordinate Agency extranet and client Web site activities

    + Assist with monthly Client billing activities

    + Update/distribute weekly status report

    + Archive creative and research materials

    + Provide support in meeting preparation

    + Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    + The job will require the Account Coordinator to develop a strong understanding of internal Agency procedures.

    + The position will require the Account Coordinator to build solid relations with other agency departments (Creative, Media, Traffic, Planning, and Finance) to help facilitate efficient day-to-day operations.

    + The Account Coordinator position requires extensive proficiency in the use of computers and specific software.

    + Some degree of experience or education in advertising or related fields (i.e. – sales, marketing, media, retail, etc.) is a plus, but not required. Prior advertising agency experience is also a plus.

    + Prior experience in retail advertising and/or the automotive category is a plus but not required.

    + Must assume a high level of enthusiasm and an eagerness to establish a foundation for a career in advertising

    + Must have an outgoing and positive personality with a “nothing’s impossible” approach to daily tasks

    + Must take a “fresh” approach to the business bringing new ideas to each project and task

    **Refined:** a strong focus on accuracy, attention-to-detail, and timeliness

    Communication:

    + Excellent oral/written communication skills

    + Ability to keep supervisors properly informed

    **Self-Starter:** must be a quick learner, intuitive, and proactive

    Exceptional organizational and time-management skills:

    + Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    + Ability to maintain productivity while working at an expedient pace

    Computer Aptitude:

    + Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a must

    + Experience with Quark XPress and Adobe software (Photoshop, Persuasion, Illustrator, PageMill), Microsoft Publisher, as well as Donovan is a plus
