Reporting directly to the Director, 3D Creative Technology, you'll lead the integration of GenAI tools, guiding the visual direction and ensuring imagery that resonates emotionally. With your deep aesthetic sensibility and technical fluency, you'll translate business briefs into stunning 3D content, collaborating with creative leads and production teams. Translate business briefs and seasonal creative requests into developed 3D-based visual content
Define the layout, product placement, lighting, environment design, and overall visual tone for each scene
Work either from a department's style guide or in collaboration with a creative lead, depending on the request
Create mockups that serve as visual blueprints for 3D vendors—ensuring clarity, fidelity, and creative intent
Lead the 3D creative development of each scene from start to finish, balancing storytelling, accuracy, and scale
Partner with production teams to ensure final outputs reflect your direction
Lead the integration of GenAI tools into team workflows, including prompt design, tool testing, and best practice development
Develop original GenAI-generated inspiration content to help guide brainstorming and enhance visual inputs to vendors
Support creative innovation and tooling exploration in partnership with the Head of 3D Creative Technology
What you'll do...

What you'll bring...
+ Minimum 3 years of experience as an art director/stylist in either an IRL photo studio or a virtual studio environment
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in CGI, 3D-based visual content, or retail storytelling
+ Experience using GenAI tools (e.g., Firefly, Gemini, Midjourney) in a creative or prototyping workflow
+ Experience working in digital-first content environments (CGI, motion, game design, innovation teams)
+ Visual taste, with a comfort level blending traditional creative methods with AI-assisted brainstorming
+ Communicate aesthetic and technical expectations to 3D vendors
+ High proficiency with Adobe CC
+ Comfortable balancing creative originality with technical scalability

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00-$202,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 1 year's experience in interactive design, editorial content management, or related field OR 3 years' experience in interactive design, editorial content management, or related field.
