    In this position...

     

    We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Asset Management Expert with an in-depth knowledge of maintenance processes to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Maximo to help organizations optimize asset management, improve maintenance strategies, and ensure operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management, preventive and corrective maintenance, and technical solutions within the IBM Maximo platform from a business perspective.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    + Maximo Configuration & Customization: Configure, customize, and integrate IBM Maximo Asset Management system to meet client-specific maintenance management requirements. Lead and support Maximo deployments and decommissions. Design, configure, and maintain work management and asset management processes within Maximo that support the Maintenance Operating System strategies with an emphasis on standard, global solutions.

    + Maintenance Process Optimization: Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement best practices for preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and asset lifecycle management within the Maximo platform. Analyze and refine maintenance workflows to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and extend asset lifespans. Help optimize spare parts and inventory management to support maintenance operations effectively.

    + Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and configure Maximo-based reporting solutions to track asset performance, maintenance activities, and overall operational efficiency. Cross functional coordination with Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDIA), Manufacturing Engineering (ME) organizations, other operating systems, and plant personnel. Use data analysis to identify trends and suggest improvements in asset and maintenance management processes.

    + User Training & Support: Provide training to users on Maximo’s maintenance functionality, including work orders, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, condition monitoring, inventory, and more. Take the lead on Maximo Mobile application with a focus on supporting plant floor users’ needs. Offer ongoing technical support for users, addressing and troubleshooting Maximo-related issues as they arise. Coordinate directly with Maximo IT team setting priorities and guidance to meet strategic and tactical objectives.

    + System Integration & Upgrades: Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure successful system integration with other enterprise systems (ERP, CMMS, APIs, etc.). Also coordinate with the Innovations lead to integrate global standardized solutions using Maximo as the foundation. Oversee Maximo upgrades, ensuring new features and functionalities are effectively utilized by the organization.

    + Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and work with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements. Convert hierarchy structures to one standard solution for each business unit. Stay current with the latest developments in Maximo and asset management practices to recommend the best solutions.

     

    You'll have...

     

    + Experience with Maximo versions 7.6 and familiarity with MAS 9 capabilities.

    + Knowledge of work order management, preventive maintenance functionality, inventory, procurement, and other applications within Maximo.

    + 5+ years of experience working with IBM Maximo Asset Management, with a strong emphasis on maintenance functionality.

    + Solid understanding of maintenance management processes, including preventive and corrective maintenance, asset lifecycle, and reliability-based maintenance.

    + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, particularly in Maximo environments.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    + Certification in IBM Maximo Asset Management.

    + Experience in Maximo configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.

    + Proficiency in Maximo Reporting (BIRT, Cognos, etc.) and data analytics tools.

    This position is a leadership salary grade 6.
