    Mark IV Enterprises is hiring! We are searching for talented Staff Accountant to work with our team located at the Corporate office in the Corn Hill District in Rochester.

    Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

    + Post to General Ledger – recurring daily and monthly entries

    + Account reconciliation of subledgers tied to GL

    + Vendor maintenance: W-9’s, 1099’s, oversee insurance certificate management

    + Vendor invoice processing oversight – including electronic Purchase Orders & Invoices

    + Prepare financial statements and financial reports

    + Preparation of trial balances and related backup for year-end tax preparation to external accountants

    + Process vendor credit applications

    + Monthly/Quarterly booking of journal entries

    + Monthly bank reconciliations

    + Prepaids – monthly posting and reconciliation to GL

    + Act as back-up to the payroll function

    + Book payroll expense

    + Suggest and assist with process improvements

    Qualifications / Skills:

    + BA/BS Accounting or Finance

    + 5 years of accounting experience in a for-profit organization

    + Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas

    + Experience with financial reporting requirements and ERP systems

    + Ability to research and resolve outstanding issues

    + Deadline- and detail-oriented; thorough

    + Ability to maintain confidentiality

    + Positive attitude; desire to contribute to the success of the organization

     

    The pay range for this role is $60-70k per year. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for the role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
