Required Skills:

Data Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop creative and innovative solutions to manipulate and transform data coming from diverse domains and components operating in Meta platforms, such as facebook.com, advertisements and pages, as well as other custom software systems and databases.

2. Design, architect and develop data solutions that help Product and Business teams make data driven decisions.

3. Help lead data solution design efforts from beginning to end, as well as processes for the development and implementation of data integration for external insights and work on Data Warehouse and Operational Data Store.

4. Collaborate with Data Infrastructure and Engineering teams to build and extend cross platform ETL and reports generation frameworks.

5. Provide consultation to business partners including analysts, managers, end users and developers to clarify work objectives, determine project scope, obtain consensus, identify problems and recommend solutions.

6. Support end users on ad hoc data usage and serve as subject matter expert functional matters.

Minimum Qualifications:

7. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

10. 2. Data warehousing architecture and data modeling best practices

11. 3. Hadoop, HBase and Hive

12. 4. File Systems, server architectures, and distributed systems

13. 5. MicroStrategy or other similar Business Intelligence (BI) reporting solutions, AND

14. 6. End-to-end system design for analytics infrastructure, including logging, processing, enrichment, validation, aggregation, and privacy.

Public Compensation:

$182,583/year to $196,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits
