    Required Skills:

    Software Engineer Responsibilities:

    1. Help build the next generation of systems behind Meta's products.

    2. Create web and/or mobile applications.

    3. Build high-volume servers to support content.

    4. Build highly scalable performant solutions.

    5. Develop algorithms and rely on core computer science concepts.

    6. Solve production problems and contribute to architectural decisions.

    7. Employ specialty knowledge across the fields of data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, and operating systems.

    8. Utilize knowledge of data base management system software, development environment software, object oriented development software, program testing software, operating system software, and various programming languages.

    9. Utilize knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming, and of systems architecture and components, including networking and storage.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    10. Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

    11. Requires 36 months of experience involving the following:

    12. 1. Java and JavaScript

    13. 2. Building large-scale infrastructure applications

    14. 3. Relational databases and SQL

    15. 4. Python

    16. 5. PHP

    17. 6. Ruby

    18. 7. HTML

    19. 8. CSS

    20. 9. Conducting design and code reviews

    21. 10. Object-oriented software development

    22. and 11. Building maintainable and testable codes bases including API design and unit testing techniques.

    Public Compensation:

    $229,501/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits
