Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented **Warehouse Technician** to support the planning, coordination, and execution of material movement from receipt to production. This position is responsible for day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, material handling, shipping and receiving, and coordination with other departments to meet production and scheduling requirements.
**Primary Responsibilities** :
+ Plan, schedule, and manage the flow of materials from warehouse receipt to production.
+ Develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production schedules.
+ Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to coordinate timely material movement.
+ Perform daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and staging of materials.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and apply appropriate min/max inventory levels.
+ Update and manage inventory data in the warehouse management system or relevant database.
+ Conduct and support annual physical inventories and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Load and unload trucks and other vehicles during shipping and receiving operations.
+ Ensure compliance with all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Basic Qualifications
+ TS/SCI w/Poly clearance is required.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 2–4 years of relevant experience in materials management, warehouse operations, or production planning.
+ Working knowledge of material movement, inventory control, and production scheduling processes.
+ Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) and materials management systems.
+ Experience with warehousing operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
+ Ability to interpret engineering specifications and production schedules to determine material needs.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and other departments.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in tracking material flow and maintaining records.
+ Ability to work independently under limited supervision and solve moderately complex material planning challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate degree or vocational training in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
+ Proficiency with **ERP or MRP systems** (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
+ Knowledge of **material selection** for production based on performance, cost, and application.
+ Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment.
+ Prior experience in a **manufacturing** or **production** environment with high material throughput.
+ Exposure to **lean inventory** or **just-in-time (JIT)** methodologies.
+ Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements in material planning or warehousing.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
