    Job Summary

    The Director, Clinical Services oversees the operational and clinical functions of healthcare services within the organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards. This role is responsible for managing clinical staff, developing policies and procedures, and collaborating with leadership to implement strategies that align with organizational goals. The Director ensures that clinical programs operate efficiently, focusing on patient outcomes, service excellence, and compliance.

    Essential Functions

    + Oversees daily operations of clinical services, ensuring that patient care is delivered according to best practices and quality standards.

    + Develops and implements clinical policies, procedures, and protocols, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

    + Manages clinical staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development to maintain high-quality service delivery.

    + Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for clinical services, aligning with organizational goals and growth initiatives.

    + Monitors clinical performance metrics, including patient outcomes, staff productivity, and financial efficiency, making adjustments as needed to improve performance.

    + Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies related to patient safety, quality, and care delivery.

    + Develops and manages budgets for clinical services, optimizing resources to meet financial and operational goals.

    + Engages with patients, families, and the community to ensure satisfaction with clinical services and address any concerns or feedback.

    + Leads quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing patient care, service delivery, and operational efficiency within the clinical departments.

    + Collaborates with other departments, such as nursing, administration, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and integrated service delivery.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.

    + Complies with all policies and standards.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required

    + Master's Degree in Nursing preferred

    + 7-9 years of experience in varied disciplines of nursing required

    + 1-3 years in a director-level role required

    + 3-5 years of experience in healthcare management or clinical leadership preferred

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on clinical operations and patient care delivery.

    + In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement, and accreditation standards.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate clinical teams.

    + Financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and optimizing resources.

    + Proficiency in healthcare technology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

    Licenses and Certifications

    + RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required

    + BCLS - Basic Life Support required and

    + ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required

    + Advanced Nursing Certifications such as, Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or Nurse Executive Certification (NE-BC) preferred
