As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will help us continue serving as a top leader of care by organizing and coordinating the activities and flow of work for the patient access area. Your efforts focus on optimizing your team and driving improvements, ultimately enhancing the Cleveland Clinic and positively impacting the community as a whole.
A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Organize and coordinate the activities and flow of work for the patient access area.
+ Assign tasks, monitor performance of and assists in training patient service representative.
+ Screen candidates, recommend hires, conduct performance appraisals and recommend corrective counseling.
+ Develop, implement, and oversee programs to improve appointment utilization such as, reminder, follow-up on no-show/cancellation program.
+ Coordinate activities and resolve operational problems.
+ Adjust employees, patients and physicians' schedules to respond to operational problems.
+ Control and audit the reconciliation of day sheets including adjusting statistics in the computer data bank.
+ Produce reports as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ High School Diploma or GED and two years Cleveland Clinic outpatient scheduling experience or other equivalent position, including interacting with patients, physicians, and other departments on a problem resolution basis OR three years of experience OR Associate Degree and one year of experience OR Bachelor's Degree

Physical Requirements:
+ Requires frequent data entry, sitting, standing and walking. Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech. Occasional lifting or pushing up to 25 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
+ Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $16.47
Maximum hourly: $23.61
The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
