The Capabilities and Operations team is responsible for leading strategy, content development, and maximizing effectiveness across the Oncology franchise as it relates to Advisory Boards and External Expert Engagements, Congresses, Conferences, Sponsorships, Marketing-Sponsored meetings, State Society Meetings, GPO Operations, and Patient Advocacy. This team works collaboratively with other U.S. Commercial Oncology teams to establish and manage strategies derived from brand plans, create annual plans related to the above focus areas, and work alongside AbbVie's internal functions to ensure flawless execution.
The Marketing Manager II, GPO Management, plays a critical role in building the GPO execution/operations across the entire Oncology portfolio. Strong organizational and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work across a matrix organization, are required. The Oncology Franchise includes cross-functional partners in Brand Marketing, Market Access, Digital and DTC marketing, Managed Care, HEOR, Government Affairs, Medical, OEC, Legal, and Finance
Key Responsibilities Include:
+ Managing the GPO SOW process from creation through PO execution
+ Creating and maintaining Smartsheet Dashboards to consistently provide engagement summaries to leadership and cross-functional partners
+ Partner daily with the Market Access – GPO lead who manages the strategy for all GPO activities
+ GPO Exhibits, Podiums, and Sponsorships at conferences throughout the year
+ + Processing contract and payment paperwork in a timely manner
+ Managing the logistics and benefits of each event to ensure a strong presence
+ Partnering with the field to confirm presence and engagement at exhibits and podiums
+ Manage attendees and ensure they have all relevant information
+ Work with the Speakers Bureau lead to identify speakers for Podium opportunities
+ Responsible for creating and managing SharePoint micro-sites for each GPO Conference
+ GPO In Practice Programs across both oncology business units
+ + Manage the entire process from SOW, program acceptance, tracking, planning, and follow-up
+ Communication with GPO, National Sales Manager, and sales teams, and collaboration partners to ensure effective management of peer-to-peer education
+ Provide quarterly summary reports to highlight accomplishments, engagements, reach, and impact
+ NPP GPO Marketing Services
+ + Work with the Creative, Brand, and GPO teams to ensure asset handoff with GPO. Serve as liaison between Market Access Marketing and GPO contacts.
+ Communicate cross-functionally when assets have been deployed and follow up with click-through metrics and analysis of each initiative
+ Process SOWs in a timely manner
+ + Develop routine summary reports to communicate support to internal stakeholders via the Smartsheet Dashboard and ad hoc requests/presentations
+ Manage the GPO budget and ensure Smartsheet trackers are updated monthly
Qualifications
+ Looking for a candidate who has significant capability to work with multiple stakeholders, including multiple external collaboration partners.
+ Bachelor’s Degree required
+ 7+ years of combined experience in pharmaceutical industry, ideally, 4+ years specifically in the GPO space
+ Strong analytics with excellent overall business acumen
+ Excellent leadership and communication skills
+ Strong ability to partner across functions and with management
+ Ability to foster strong relationships with senior management and external partners
+ Knowledge of marketing concepts within strategic planning process
+ Strong presentation experience and proficient Microsoft Office skills
+ Strong collaboration and team orientation, with experience accomplishing results through others and influencing others

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. Salary: $121,000 - $230,000
