The position of Facilities Supervisor is within our CMI business unit located in California. This role, under general supervision, is responsible for the day-to-day facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Oversees the Facilities Operations: Maintenance, Security, Janitorial, and alarm response.
+ Assist with managing relationships and contracts for Facilities with suppliers including but not limited to: Building Management System, Stand-by Generator, HVAC, Compressed Air Systems, DI Systems, and Pest Control.
+ Develop process and procedures for Facilities
+ Plan, coordinate, and direct the tasks of assigned staff
+ Short term strategic Facilities Planning.
+ Assist with design of facility improvements, and management of any involved contractors.
+ Interface with various government agencies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for the company facilities.
+ Interface with property management.
+ Manage the environmental controls for labs, and manufacturing spaces that are the responsibility of the Facilities team.
+ Assist in the management of strategic Facilities projects.
+ Manage the specification and installation equipment and systems to efficiently service the organization for its functioning needs.
+ Responsible for Facilities issues with validation, GMP, and SOP’s for major systems.
+ Assist in the development of expansion plan and budget for facilities to accommodate company growth.
+ Work involving urine or other potentially infectious materials may be required.
+ Knowledgeable of federal and other regulations, e.g. QSR’s, ISO, ISO 13485, CMDR
+ Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job; has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities
+ Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company’s policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships
+ Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies
+ Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
+ BA/BS in engineering or business
+ Three to five years’ experience in performing and managing multiple functions described in duties above.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Working experience using computers, specifically MS Office (MS Word/Excel)
+ Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ CFM certification
+ Experience in medical device or biotech manufacturing
+ Must have a proven track record of problem solving skills and developing strategic solutions to produce deliverables and meet timelines.
+ Process orientated, detailed, logical, analytical, meticulous and highly organized, able to analyze data and implement solutions.
+ Adaptable and willing to take on multiple new tasks and responsibilities while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks within a dynamic work environment.

The base pay for this position is $86,700.00 – $173,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
