Job Summary:
The Director of Strategic Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of long-term marketing strategies that drive business growth, enhance brand equity, and increase market share. This role combines strategic planning with deep market insights to position the company competitively across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned marketing leader with a proven ability to think analytically, manage cross-functional teams, and influence key stakeholders.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities.
* Own market segmentation, market-research, competitive analysis, portfolio positioning, segment pricing guidelines and customer insights to inform strategic planning.
* Own market share/ market growth rates and forecasting analytics
* Identify growth opportunities, including new markets, customer segments, and strategic partnerships.
* Collaborate with product, sales, and communications teams to align go-to-market initiatives and messaging.
* Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
* Manages Electronic Monitor market planning, including Marketing communications and overall Electronic Monitor marketing budget/ spend.
* Track and report on marketing performance KPIs, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable ROI.
* Owns go-to-market strategy for product launches.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for strategic marketing initiatives.
* Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing strategy team.
* Role will partner closely with COO, CEO and Board of Directors to assess, develop and execute strategic growth opportunities

Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. MBA strongly preferred.
* 8+ years of progressive experience in marketing and/or business strategy roles, with at least 5 years in a strategic marketing leadership role.
* Experience in the following industries is preferred: Technology, Consumer Products, Criminal Justice, Consulting
