Our Injury Prevention program is expanding!

Our team is growing and we are seeking an additional Injury Prevention Professional at our client site in Bath, Maine! In this position, you will support the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness.

_Schedule: M-F, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/wk with varying schedule between 6:00am-6pm_

Supports the creation and implementation of programs focused on the prevention of work injuries, physical conditioning, and employee education and wellness.

Key Areas of Impact:

+ Conducts employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.

+ Develops exercise programs specific to injury prevention and conditioning needs.

+ Collects and document appropriate program data to support the ROI process.

+ Develop, promote, and market wellness and general education programs.

+ Supports employee healthcare teams with job function assessment, incident investigation and care management.

+ Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you need to succeed:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field required.

+ Current Adult CPR/AED/FA certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required.

+ Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM, NETA or NSCA a plus.

+ Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, nursing) preferred.

+ 2-3 years’ experience in corporate based health and fitness program preferred.

+ Understanding of Biomechanics, occupational safety and proficient in exercise prescription preferred.

+ Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation: $26.50-$28.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
