    This Drop Ship Analyst supporting our dropship program, also known internally as VIF, Vendor Inventory Fulfillment, will contribute to REI’s success by working collaboratively across REI’s value chain to evaluate our business systems and processes to meet our strategic objectives. This role is responsible for the onboarding of vendors, vendor performance management, collaboration with internal business partners, and supporting transactional activities. This role leverages an understanding of business goals and operations, combined with a technical aptitude, process improvement, and project management mindset to deliver capability and insights throughout the Co-op.

     

    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Responsibilities

    + Performs vendor account management for all VIF vendor partners. Requires collaboration with internal partners as needed to share information, provide support and excellent customer service, and works to improve overall vendor performance against REI’s operational guidelines

    + Maintains effective communication, including exchange of data, error resolution and operational processes while building rapport with internal and external customers

    + Supports inbound and outbound B2B transactions on behalf of REI, including vendor B2B enablement and ongoing transaction monitoring and support

    + Develops, interprets, and analyzes department specific processes to ensure the optimal integrity and functionality of system programs

    + Leads and executes on small to medium sized projects in collaboration with cross divisional partners and senior team members

    + Identifies business areas and/or projects where VIF involvement could provide benefit to the Co-Op; with support of Operations Manager or senior team members, provides leadership, analysis, and support for these new areas of influence

    + Utilizes available tools to optimize process efficiency, including preparing documentation and providing training on tools and processes

    + Provides root cause analysis and drives continuous improvement

    + Creates and delivers data driven storytelling across all customer groups including vendors, merchants, and other cross-divisional partners

    + Supports change management and communicates process related to changes to stakeholders at all levels

    Required Qualifications:

    + 2+ years professional experience preferably in Vendor Management, Operations, Merchandising, Retail, or Finance

    + 1+ years of experience managing or leading projects

    + Knowledge of standard merchandising principles and processes

    + Actively participates and collaborates with others on one's own team and across REI for the achievement of business goals

    + Flexible in one's viewpoints and positions in order to support the direction taken by others at REI

    + Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities

    + Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound decisions

    + Considers the ultimate impact of decisions and actions on internal and external customers

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Familiarity with logistics concepts and language

    + Prior VIF (dropship) experience

    + Experience with SAP and Microsoft products

    + Experience with Tableau, Sigma, or similar dashboarding tools

    + SQL proficiency

    Pay Range

     

    $64,600.00 - $103,500.00 per year
