This position exists to provide consultations and professional development services designed to improve and maintain the success of faculty with the design, development and delivery of various forms of instruction for students. This will include, but is not limited to, guidance and workshops about pedagogical practices and instructional technology applications.
The main responsibilities of this position are to:
+ Provide collaborative project management with M State faculty and staff for the development and production of courses including face-to-face, blended, and completely online courses.
+ Manage the creation and delivery of training sessions for faculty and staff and evaluate the training sessions (faculty, student and staff).
This individual must possess demonstrated experience with instructional design, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to web-based and face-to-face instruction.
This individual must demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency in software applications that facilitate the design of instruction, including storyboards, flow charts, and multimedia applications.
Advanced project management skills (including human relations skills) are required for the successful completion of the job duties in this position.

Responsibilities** **:
+ Live the mission, vision and values of M State to ensure a positive experience for all students and stakeholders. Service to M State students and stakeholders is a core component of the position and work responsibilities.
+ Create and deliver online and in-person curriculum-related seminars, courses, and materials.
+ Collaborate with instructors in the design of degrees and certificates, courses (traditional and online), instructional units and instructions materials by applying systematic instructional design principals and processes.
+ Stay current in pedagogical, andragogical, and technological advances through professional development.
+ Support for campus and college operations.
Minimum Qualifications** **:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology/Instructional Design and a minimum of two years related experience in instructional design, faculty training, pedagogy, and/or curricular development in a postsecondary setting.
+ Proficient user of computer-based technology in educational environments.
+ Excellent project management, communication, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications** **:
+ Master’s degree in Educational Technology/Instructional Design.
+ Teaching experience in a postsecondary setting.
+ Experience using D2L.
+ Experience in developing rubrics and assessments for adult learners.
