Assistant Dir Sales

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing and executing annual sales and marketing strategies aligned with IHG standards and the Hotel Indigo brand.
Cultivate and manage key accounts across corporate, group, SMERF, and leisure travel segments.
Partner with the Marketing Manager and IHG corporate to develop brand-aligned campaigns, social media content, and local activations that reflect the hotel’s unique neighborhood story.
Assist in leading and mentoring the sales team, ensuring goals are clear, tracked, and met or exceeded.
Conduct site visits, client presentations, and community networking events to generate qualified leads and increase brand visibility.
Participate in revenue strategy meetings and contribute to forecasting and budgeting decisions.
Ensure all sales systems (IHG Concerto, Delphi, fdc, etc.) are accurate and current.
Collaborate closely with hotel operations and F&B to ensure seamless delivery of guest and group experiences.
Represent the hotel at IHG brand functions, travel shows, and local events.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience; boutique or lifestyle brand experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with IHG systems and tools (e.g., Concerto, Merlin, Delphi, Amadeus) is a plus.
Strong leadership, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

The salary range for this position is 90k to 100k.
