LOCATION OF POSITION: Monroe One BOCES - 41 O’Connor Road, Fairport NY 14450; Eastern Monroe Career Center

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:June 27-28, July 1-3, July 8-12; Hours 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Mandatory Summer Set-Up Meetings:

June 4th = O’Connor Academy, eStart, Transition/Employment, Creekside (BPA Unit + TES Staff)

June 11th = Creekside (BUP Unit)

June 12th = Bird/Morgan

SALARY RANGE:$32.33 - $52.43 per hour or your 2024-25 rate in this title for current Monroe One Boces staff

*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

DUTIES:

1. Instruct students in theory and application of Cosmetology.

2. Provide students with extensive guided practice.

3. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.

4. Maintain written records of attendance and progress.

5. Order materials and equipment necessary for the operation of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. NYS Cosmetology license and NYS Certification in Cosmetology required.

2. Minimum of five years of industry experience.

3. Ability to work effectively with high school students.

4. Previous teaching experience preferred.

5. College degree preferred.

6. Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).

Employment is contingent upon student enrollment and availability of programs.
