    Job Overview

     

    + Manage, monitor, and audit the daily operations of logistics flow for inbound and outbound materials – international regional partners and international customers - service and production.

    + Align with the warehouse and invoicing personnel regarding outbound quality (packaging, documentation, permitting) of customer order fulfillment

    + Direct, schedule, and ensure shipments, expedited, contracted, common carrier andrailequipment for conveyance of materials or freight internationally

    + Organize and monitor carrier and supplier relationships addressing door-to-door transport issues including track/trace visibility, packaging, expediting, pick-up and delivery orders

    + Obtain and file necessary documentation regarding all Logistics activities as necessary, from packing lists

     

    Key Job Responsibilities

     

    + Creating pick tickets - utilizing SAP

    + Outsource Log - expediting parts entering POs and information

    + Receiving raw materials and non production POs using the SAP functions

    + Utilizing various SAP functions to input newley released production orders

    + Update of daily priority list for shippment

    + Directing and scheduling shipment

    + Other duties as required (not all encompassing)

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + 3 - 5 years work experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution

    + 1+ year with transportation, WMS GTS and/or TMS processing

    + Strong computer skills - Microsoft office, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word, SAP preferred

    + Knowledge of RF bar code scanning devices and applications, bar coding labeling software and hardware

    + Six sigma background helpful

    + Works well under pressure while achieving desired results

    + Strong interpersonal and influential skills

    + You will interface with multiple departments throughout the company

    + Work environment will be both in the shop and office environments

    + PPE is required at all times (provided by the company)
