    Service Desk/Desktop Support Specialist

     

    Provide systems administration support to cross-functional product development teams. Prepare detailed systems administration plans and level of effort estimates for meeting product roadmap release requirements. Detect, diagnose, isolate and correct device operational failures. Support Incident and Problem Management activities with device expertise and troubleshooting.

    Skills and Requirements

    Requirements

    SECRET clearance.

     

    3 + years experience in administering Windows desktops and operating systems

     

    Bachelors degree or equivalent in management information systems, computer science engineering, business and/or related technical field

     

    Responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.

     

    The Support Specialist will provide web application support.

     

    Provide systems administration support to cross-functional product development teams.

     

    Prepare detailed systems administration plans and level of effort estimates for meeting product roadmap release requirements.

     

    Detect, diagnose, isolate and correct web system operational failures.

     

    Support Incident and Problem Management activities with web expertise and troubleshooting.

     

    Experience supporting servers in a LAN/WAN environment preferred.

     

    Good understanding of Microsoft Office products

     

    Proficient in Microsoft Outlook experience required

     

    Good understanding of Microsoft Office products

     

    Experience supporting servers in a LAN/WAN environment

     

    Proficient in Microsoft Outlook experience required; Basic Exchange server knowledge is preferred

     

    $30/hr to $45/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of

     

    employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in

     

    the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this

     

    role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the

     

    applicable law of the worksite location. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook experience required; Basic Exchange server knowledge is preferred

     

    Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred

     

    Microsoft certification preferred. Security + or CISSP certification preferred
