Our client, a leading company in the Aerospace, Energy, and Industrial Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Safety Specialist to join their team. As a Safety Specialist, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting the Occupational Health and Safety team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Safety Specialist
**Location:** Northford, CT
**Pay Range:** $38.46/hour
What’s the Job?
+ Outline and implement training programs for employee safety and accident prevention
+ Develop and distribute educational materials on safety procedures
+ Inspect company facilities for safety compliance
+ Recommend corrective actions or additional precautions as needed
+ Ensure adherence to established health and safety regulations
What’s Needed?
+ Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
+ 0–2 years of experience in a safety-related role
+ Knowledge of safety concepts, practices, and procedures
+ Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
+ U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required
