Our client, a global industrial controls design & manufacturing company, is seeking a Product Compliance Engineer to join their team. As a Product Compliance Engineer, you will be part of the Production Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and an experienced **Product Compliance Engineer** to support a high-impact regulatory initiatives. This role will involve managing product documentation updates, expertise working with large datasets, coordinating across global teams, and driving projects to completion. This role is a contract status position and will show strong preference to candidates from the Milwaukee, WI metropolitan area.
**Job Title:** Product Compliance Engineer
**Pay:** $35-$40/hr. plus OT, benefits
Key Responsibilities
+ 3–5 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or engineering
+ Familiarity with global environmental compliance regulations (e.g., ROHS, REACH, WEEE, etc)
+ Experience working with enterprise data systems such as SAP
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, especially with large datasets
+ Proficient with conducting complex data analysis and utilizing output to drive decision making
Requirements
+ Experience with compliance databases (e.g., CMAP, Assent, or similar)
+ Proficiency in MS Power BI, SQL, Python, Data Visualization, and Reporting
+ Prior involvement in environmental labeling or documentation initiatives
+ Proven ability to manage projects independently and meet regulatory deadlines
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Science, Data Science or a related field
