Job Title: Procurement Analyst III
**Duration:** 5-Month Contract
**Max Pay Rate:** $54/hr
**Note:** This is _not_ a laboratory-based position.

Job Overview:
The Procurement Analyst III will support the **Sourcing Operations** team within the **PCD Outsourcing** function. This role is responsible for executing business operations related to outsourcing at external CROs or collaborators. The position reports directly to the **Outsourcing organization** and collaborates cross-functionally with **Procurement** and **Finance** teams.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Support business sourcing activities for Preclinical Development (PCD) outsourcing.
+ Assist in building capabilities at new or existing partners based on business needs.
+ Collaborate with Outsourcing Leadership and Finance for annual sourcing budgets and quarterly forecasts.
+ Provide end-of-quarter/year financial data to Finance (SAP reconciliations, variance reports, invoice accruals).
+ Use financial tools and IT applications (e.g., SAP/Ariba) to monitor requisitions and payments.
+ Troubleshoot PO generation, invoice reconciliation, and partner payment issues.
+ Lead departmental adoption of improved systems and processes.
+ Proactively identify issues, raise concerns, and propose solutions.
+ Initiate and manage purchase orders (POs) in alignment with scope of work and contractual agreements.
+ Ensure contracts are in place before commencing work with suppliers.
+ Validate project deliverables before processing invoices for payment.
+ Maintain records of open POs, payments, and close-out documentation.
+ Contribute to sourcing workflow optimization and future-state improvements.
+ Participate in Procurement SMP teams to reassess vendor capabilities and identify new suppliers as needed.
Required Qualifications:
+ **Bachelor’s Degree** (mandatory)
+ Strong ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
+ Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
+ Skilled at handling high-volume transactional work efficiently and accurately.
+ Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Self-driven with a proven track record of performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience using **SAP/Ariba** or similar financial systems.
+ Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** for data manipulation.
+ Ability to independently prioritize work and manage timelines.
+ Experience in **process improvement** and streamlining operations.
