Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a highly skilled and efficient Maximo Data Analyst to join the Construction Public Improvement group at Con Edison. This position is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity on a hybrid basis located in the Bronx. Conversion or extension of the assignment is dependent on performance in the position and workload of the group at the time.

In this position, the Data Analyst will be working cross functionally with supervisors to oversee the back-end data coming from municipal projects in the tri-state area. This role will primarily focus on data extraction, analysis, and administrative support, with a strong emphasis on utilizing specialized software and maintaining accurate and complete records of all data. One of the main objectives in this position is to act as a bridge as the team develops new tools to migrate data from their current system to their new work management system, Maximo. To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent organization and communication skills.

Skills and Requirements

1+ year of experience with Data Analytics (mining, cleaning, extraction, and manipulation)

IBM Maximo Proficiency

Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business or equivalent

Strong proficiency creating dashboards and reports in PowerBi

Advanced Excel Skills performing spreadsheet management, formula creation and verification

Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Applications (Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project)

Effective communication of technical findings and insights to non-technical audiences Previous experience in a similar industy (Construction/Utilities)
