Job Summary and Qualifications

The Pharmacy Technician Coordinator is responsible for collaborative oversight of the daily technician workflow in the pharmacy. This includes hiring, training, and evaluating Pharmacy Technicians (Tech I, Tech II, and Tech III), among other duties. The Pharmacy Technician Coordinator will work with the Pharmacy Operations Managers/Director of Pharmacy on special projects as assigned. They must be able to accurately perform advanced and basic pharmacy technician functions in a timely manner. In addition, they are responsible for performing duties associated with Automated Dispensing Cabinets (ADCs), other specialized duties and/or leadership roles as assigned by the pharmacy management team.

What qualifications you will need:

+ High School Diploma or GED Required

+ Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred

+ Minimum of 3 years of hospital experience

+ Supervisor experience preferred

+ Active Registered pharmacy technician, as per State requirements, in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
