Summary:

The Commodities Manager is responsible for procuring commodities, setting market based sell prices, and working with account managers to grow the commodity business at CED profitably.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma

+ 3 - 5 Years Experience in Electrical Industry

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products

+ 50+ WPM Typing

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ 10 - 15 Years experience in Electrical Industry

+ 10+ years specifically involved in commodity business

Working Conditions:

+ General Office Environment

Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Essential Job Functions:

+ Purchase Steel Conduit, PVC Conduit, Wire, Strut, etc

+ Set market based sales prices daily

+ Work with sales team to grow commodity business based

+ Make sell price decision on all commodity BOMs over $25K

+ Build/Manage manufacturer relationships to gain advantaged cost positions

+ Build/Manage relationships with contractors in conjunction with Account Manager to make CED the distributor of choice

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $150000 to $250000 annually.
