Job Description Summary:
The Coordinator, Delivery Service Excellence is responsible for overseeing, evaluating, enhancing, and providing insights to lead improvements within the Delivery Department. Duties include providing collective assistance and insights to the delivery supervisory team and specific analytics to Drivers, Routing, Safety, and compliance. This role will review routes, route plans, stop types, service times, classifications, driver performance, and delivery frequency to assist in the coordination of optimized distribution plans in a market with 15 or fewer drivers.

Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure market is optimizing the distribution of products and resources.
+ Act as liaison between field delivery supervisors, drivers, sales leaders, and routing team.
+ Communicating proactively with Drivers to ensure adherence to daily distribution schedules and that the department.
+ Information validation or investigation as needed.
+ Reviews distribution productivity reporting to appropriate supervisor for review and determination. Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assist with implementation of distribution changes.
Effectively provide analytics and insights to the delivery operations team.
+ Monitor delivery fleet using Omni Tracs, Samsara, Roadnet and/or other delivery/routing software.
+ Identify and communicate performance management opportunities including but not limited to the assignment of work, or progressive discipline.
+ Review and verify driver DOT qualifications and delivery supervisors of compliance needs.
+ Interprets and communicates, policies, protocols and procedures including but not limited to DOT, record keeping, performance expectations and safe work methods.
Contribute to DOT compliance, which may include DOT safety requirements and DOT drug screening.
Oversee or aide in the function of timely and accurate verification and processing of the daily delivery driver invoices, associated paperwork, returns and collections.
Acts as customer and sales interface to identify opportunities, resolve issues or discrepancies and create a cohesive relationship
Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery and customer service departments to resolve all customer or distribution opportunities
Execute scheduled daily communications to Operations and Market Commercial Leadership.
Provide guidance to the proper selection and utilization of Company assets in support of the Distribution department and coordinate required repairs with proper departments as necessary.
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 1 year professional experience in a fast-paced, high volume distribution environment
+ Advanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software.
+ Must be a results-oriented professional with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills.
+ Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.
+ Highly organized
+ Ability to think creatively, identify and propose solutions to drive performance improvement.
+ Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
+ Possess an understanding or the ability to learn DOT, FMCSA, and state regulations pertaining to transportation is crucial. Including laws and regulations pertaining to vehicle safety, driver hours, safety and other relevant areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience using Microsoft software platforms and industry platforms (Omnitracs, Samsara, Roadnet, SAP, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate and operate a computer and telephone
+ Occasional carrying, overhead reaching and lifting of 15 pounds to perform various duties
+ Occasional immediate reaching to perform various office duties
+ Occasional standing for short amounts of time to perform various duties
+ Occasional walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties
+ Extended sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation
+ Minimal squatting or bending to perform various duties
+ Occasional Climb Stairs

+ Will help provide guidance to coordinate the work of other members of the team and supervisors.

Compensation: $26/HR - Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.
